Quercus is an eco-cottage of the highest standard, having well-insulated Oak framed walls, heated by green electricity from our solar panels, supplemented by green grid electricity when necessary - you are effectively off-grid during the summer months - a true net zero holiday! The wood burner and hot tub are powered by sustainable wood supplies, making the cottage cosy in the colder Scottish weather but keeping your carbon footprint to a minimum, whilst the trees surrounding the property continue to sequester any excess carbon helping our Earth to survive.
